Crafted Ashburn: A Unique Beer and Wine Destination in Old Ashburn

Crafted – Where Beer, Wine, Food, and Art Intertwine

Crafted Ashburn, nestled in the historic heart of Old Ashburn, is an enchanting new establishment that seamlessly combines the allure of a beer and wine bistro with the charm of a retail shop and art studio.

A Cozy Haven for Libations and Delights

Step inside Crafted and be greeted by a rustic yet inviting atmosphere. The centerpiece of the establishment is the long Virginia poplar bar, where you can perch and indulge in a refreshing craft beer on tap or savor a delectable glass of wine.

Beyond the bar, you’ll discover a curated selection of wines displayed for sale. Several coolers are brimming with an array of intriguing craft beers that will tantalize even the most discerning beer enthusiast.

The culinary offerings at Crafted are equally alluring. A concise yet diverse menu features an array of delectable dishes, such as a mouthwatering charcuterie board, a spicy Buffalo chicken dip, a crisp Caesar salad, a hearty chopped Italian sandwich, and a classic beef on weck sandwich. Each dish is meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients, ensuring a satisfying culinary experience.

Glass Blowing – A Touch of Artistic Elegance

In addition to its culinary and libation offerings, Crafted Ashburn boasts a unique artistic dimension. Originally renowned for its exceptional glass blowing classes and gift items in Haymarket a decade ago, this aspect of the enterprise has been meticulously transplanted to its new home in Ashburn.

At the rear of the establishment, a dedicated room has been designated as the future glass blowing studio. The owners, Steven and Katie Kihl, envision offering glass blowing classes in the months to come, allowing patrons to immerse themselves in the captivating art form.

The official grand opening festivities of Crafted Ashburn are scheduled for April 5th and 6th. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will grace the occasion, followed by an afternoon of celebration. A limited menu will be available, complemented by a “tap takeover” featuring the esteemed Veil Brewing Co. from Richmond.
