Eagle Park Brewing Expands with Milwaukee Brewing Company Taproom in Bay View

Eagle Park’s Commitment to Milwaukee’s Corner Bar Culture

In May 2023, Eagle Park Brewing and Distilling will unveil a new taproom in the heart of Bay View, the former Tonic Tavern. This strategic location reflects Eagle Park’s deep-rooted connection to the neighborhood, where they first established their presence in 2017.

The taproom will serve as a tribute to Milwaukee’s rich history of corner bars, fostering a sense of community and shared enjoyment. Eagle Park believes that these establishments are vital to the city’s social fabric and aim to create a welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can gather and connect.

MKE Taproom: A Central Gathering Spot for Craft Beverages and Communal Spirit

The MKE taproom envisions itself as a central hub for Milwaukee’s vibrant nightlife scene. Scheduled to open in May, the venue will host an array of events, including live music, cribbage leagues, and other activities that embody the city’s communal spirit.

By offering a diverse selection of MKE Brewing Co. beers, spirits, and more, the taproom aims to cater to the diverse tastes of beer and spirit enthusiasts. Additionally, the venue will not feature a brew house, allowing the team to focus on providing exceptional customer service and a memorable experience.

Eagle Park’s Expansion: A Testament to Milwaukee’s Brewing Heritage

The creation of the MKE taproom is a testament to Eagle Park’s unwavering commitment to Milwaukee’s brewing heritage. The company recognizes the city’s long-standing tradition of excellence in craft beverage production and aims to honor this legacy through its new venture.

With taprooms already established on Milwaukee’s East Side and in Muskego, Eagle Park continues to expand its presence while remaining dedicated to the local community. The MKE taproom will further strengthen the company’s ties to Bay View and contribute to the neighborhood’s vibrant social scene.

Milwaukee Brewing Company: A Legacy Preserved

Milwaukee Brewing Company, established in 1997, played a pivotal role in the city’s brewing history. After closing its Brewery District taproom in August 2022, the business and facility were acquired by Pilot Project Brewing.

Eagle Park’s acquisition of the company’s brands allows them to preserve the legacy of Milwaukee Brewing Company and share its iconic beverages with a wider audience. The MKE taproom will serve as a fitting tribute to the company’s contributions to Milwaukee’s craft beverage scene.
