Procedure
Step 1: Mashing

This is where the grains’ starches get converted into sugars – a crucial part of brewing. After an hour, you’ll begin the lautering process to separate the liquid from the grains. Do this slowly to ensure you get all the flavors and sugars needed.
Step 2: The Boil
Transfer the liquid, now known as wort, to your boil kettle and get it boiling. It’s during this boil process that we add our hops.
