Expanding the Imperial Craft Beer Legacy with the Second Annual Imperial Fest

Greater Good Imperial Brewing Co., an industry forerunner that proudly claims the title of “America’s First All-Imperial Brewery,” has announced the date of their highly anticipated second annual Imperial Fest. The festival, scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd, comes on the heels of the overwhelming success of the inaugural event in 2022.

Gearing for this year’s round, the festival seems to have doubled up on the anticipation, promising a larger and more diverse cast of participating breweries and extending its global reach.

A Celebration of Imperial Style Brushes the Sky

Established by Greater Good in 2022, Imperial Fest is more than just a jamboree of breweries. It is a critical facet of Greater Good’s thrust as the first and premier line craft brewery singularly honed in on imperial style beers. Pulling more than 500 attendees to its banner and boasting a retinue of 30 additional participating breweries in its maiden event, this year’s festival stakes have been set a notch higher.

“Imperial Fest was conceived as a grand ode to the imperial style upon which the bedrock of our brewery stands. It’s a deeper lean into our unwavering commitment to becoming the alpha in the realm of imperial craft beers,” explained Colleen Quinn, CEO of Greater Good. “Such was the magnitude of the positive response from our brewery partners and customers in the maiden event that we decided to play to our strength – Give it an Imperial Upgrade!”

The Event of the Year with 50 Breweries and Counting

The second annual Imperial Fest plans to pull more than its weight, bearing the insignias of over 50 breweries from New England and the realms beyond. Brewing greats including Allagash, Belleflower Brewing, Castle Island Brewing, Widowmaker Brewing, and Vitamin Sea are just a few of the diverse array of breweries that will be represented at the festival.

A lively contest is also expected to unfold, with participating breweries vying for a coveted guest draft spot on Greater Good’s tap list for a month. The winners will be chosen based on customers’ votes for their favorite beers from the festival.

The Road to Becoming the Imperial Craft Brewery Authority

Quinn perceives this gargantuan event as an integral stroke in the broader narrative, spotlighting Greater Good’s unwavering resolve to earn the crown of the authority in innovative and Premium Imperial Craft Beer. Besides, the event mirrors the brewery’s deep connection with its much-loved home city – Worcester.

Imperial Fest: A Testament to Greater Good’s Worcester Roots

“One of our grand strategy’s cornerstones is etching our identity across every shelf, in every customer’s mind as the Imperial craft brewery,” continued Quinn. “Alongside this, we are ardent in our belief of never straying from our roots. We are Worcester born and bred. To give back, we have widened our taproom events’ expanse in the last year. From beer dinners to live music, Greater Good has been trafficking. We’ve also worked tirelessly to extend our ‘Worcester roots’ as the only draught option at both Polar Park and the Palladium for concert-goers this year. For all intents and purposes, Imperial Fest is our letter to the city we’re proud to call home: It’s a unique beer festival, and it happens right here at our taproom.”
