Dunkelweizen: A Traditional German-style Dark Wheat Ale
Prost Brewing Co. has unveiled its first bier brewed and canned at its new Northglenn headquarters: the Dunkelweizen. This traditional German-style dark wheat ale boasts an ABV of 5.7% and is now available for a limited time on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans exclusively at Prost’s biergartens in Northglenn, Denver, Highlands Ranch, and Fort Collins.
Prost’s Dunkelweizen tantalizes taste buds with its harmonious blend of bready, chocolate-like flavors and sweet esters. Its enchanting notes of banana, spicy clove, and nutmeg evoke the essence of a chocolate-covered banana with a hint of baking spice.
Biergarten Lager: A Refreshing German-style Leichtbier
Joining the Dunkelweizen in Prost’s launch lineup is the Biergarten Lager, a German-style Leichtbier with an ABV of 4.2%. This refreshing brew will be available year-round on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans exclusively at Prost’s biergartens.
As a biergarten exclusive, the Biergarten Lager offers a light and crisp taste that perfectly complements the lively atmosphere of Prost’s biergartens.
Biergarten-exclusive Canned Bier Series
The Dunkelweizen and Biergarten Lager mark the inception of Prost’s Biergarten-exclusive canned bier series, which will showcase a rotating selection of German-style biers on draft and to-go in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans.
