North American Properties Partners with Round Trip Brewing Co. for Exciting Expansion at Avenue East Cobb

Residents in East Cobb, Georgia are set to enjoy a refreshing change of scenery as North American Properties (NAP) recently signed a lease with Round Trip Brewing Co. to open a second location at Avenue East Cobb (AEC). The brewing company, based in Atlanta, is expected to commence operation by spring 2024. The move comes as part of NAP’s continuous efforts to reposition and breathe new life into the lifestyle center as a lively local hub.

Round Trip’s arrival is a response to the demand from the community as Brooke Massey, NAP senior leasing representative shared, “One of the most requested additions we’ve received since acquiring AEC is a brewery, and we’re so excited to answer demand with a local brand.”

What to Expect at the New Round Trip Brewing Co. Location

Occupying a space of 4,500-square-foot situated between Smallcakes and the soon-to-open Plaza, Round Trip will provide an indoor-outdoor space featuring a beer garden and private event space. In addition to the popular draft options like the Straight Outta Munich Helles, Dunkel Platz, Theresa’s Meadow Hefeweizen, Pilsner, and others, guests at the brewery’s second location can enjoy approachable fare such as hot dogs, brats, and pretzels. Vegetarian options and kid-friendly meals will also be available.

“The family-centric neighborhoods in East Cobb really appealed to us since we have strived to make our brewery a welcoming environment for all. It’s a natural fit,” said Craig Mycoskie, CEO & Head Brewer at Round Trip.

Avenue East Cobb Welcomes More Businesses

Apart from Round Trip, AEC will also be home to several other local favorites and nationally-recognized names. Barnes & Noble will launch Georgia’s first new store prototype at the center, and visitors can expect a grand opening celebration from Faced the Facial Studio in early September. For pizza lovers, Peach State Pizza, a brand-new eatery, is set to debut at the event Celebrate AEC, to be held in September.

Refreshed Hospitality Experience at AEC

In an effort to continually improve the guest experience, local haunt Tin Lizzy’s recently transformed its space into a dreamy surfer’s paradise, complete with cornhole games at their all-weather patio. Hand & Stone also expanded its space earlier this year. Other noteworthy mentions to look forward to at AEC include Kendra Scott (pop-up), lululemon, New York Butcher Shoppe, Tempur-Pedic, Vanilla Café, and Warby Parker.

Revamped Infrastructure at AEC

With a refreshed streetscape, modernized signage, and brand-expressive storefronts, NAP is nearing completion of AEC’s redevelopment. The addition of an 8,000-square-foot Plaza with a performance stage, LED screen, and guest-friendly seating is something to eagerly anticipate.

Celebrate AEC, an event that will unveil the Plaza and AEC’s community-focused amenities, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 7. Tickets, priced at $75 per person, can be purchased online with proceeds benefiting local nonprofit Must Ministries.
