My night at the Heist Brewery
I recently visited the Heist Brewery in Charlotte and wow, what a place it is! From the vast selection of craft brews to the limited but delicious menu, this place knows how to keep its patrons satisfied. Let me give you the lowdown on my evening.
Welcoming Atmosphere
The first thing I noticed about Heist Brewery was the great atmosphere. The blend of an American Restaurant and Brewery sets the stage for an enjoyable evening. It has a spacious layout that’s perfect for mingling, not to mention the live bands on certain evenings which add an extra kick to the place.
Inventive Food
Next up is food. The ‘Chicken and Waffle Taco’ took my taste buds for a spin. And the ‘Duck Confit Pizza’ was incredibly satisfying. Yet, don’t take my word for it, ask any of the other patrons and they’d probably endorse the brunch buffet or the ridiculously good bacon burger. What was surprising, however, were some of the dishes like ‘Hummus and Goat Cheese’ which came in squeeze tubes. It’s a different experience to say the least.
Craft Beers Galore
Let’s not forget about the wide range of craft beers offered here. From brown ales to pale ales with a citrus twist, you’re sure to find something that tickles your fancy. The ‘Stow-Away’, a rum-based drink served in a cool Tiki glass, was surely the highlight of my evening.
The Bottomline
Whether you’re a seasoned drinker or a casual one, you’re sure to leave smiling. The staff is friendly and the fans of this place are many. So, if you are in Charlotte, do yourself a favor and check it out. Heist Brewery promised a unique culinary and brewing experience and, I must say, it delivered.
