2. After steeping, remove the grains and bring the pot to a boil. Add the pale malt extract and bring the mixture to a rolling boil. This will be the base for your Ukrainian Golden Ale.

3. At the beginning of the boil, add 1 ounce of noble hops. These hops will provide a gentle bitterness to balance the malt sweetness.

4. After boiling for 45 minutes, add the remaining 1 ounce of noble hops. These hops will contribute to the beer’s aroma and flavor.

5. After a total of 60 minutes of boiling, turn off the heat and cool the mixture as quickly as possible. You can use an ice bath or a wort chiller to speed up the process.

6. Once the mixture has cooled to around 70°F (21°C), transfer it to a clean and sanitized fermenter. Sprinkle the ale yeast on top of the wort and seal the fermenter with an airlock.

7. Allow the beer to ferment for about a week at a temperature of 65°F to 70°F (18°C to 21°C). During this time, the yeast will convert the sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide.

8. After fermentation is complete, transfer the beer to bottles or kegs for carbonation. Add a small amount of priming sugar to carbonate the beer naturally.

9. Let the beer carbonate for another week at room temperature before moving it to a cool, dark place for aging. Ukrainian Golden Ale is best enjoyed after a few weeks of conditioning.
