Iron Hill Brewery Set to Open 22nd Brewpub

Iron Hill Expands Its Brew Empire

Beyond The “20 By 20” Initiative

There was a time, back in the pre-pandemic era, when it felt like Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant Group, Inc. was on a roll. The famed brewer, a beacon of conviviality, was making headlines seemingly every other day for opening a new brewery and/or restaurant somewhere across the country. This was all part of Iron Hill’s ambitious “20 by 20” initiative, a strategic plan to establish 20 locations by 2020.

Resume Expansion Amid Global Crisis

Like most businesses, the rapid-fire growth was momentarily halted due to the global health crisis, with the expansion efforts slowing considerably in real estate terms. The once-booming “20 by 20” initiative managed to nail its objective just in time. However, now it appears the Iron Hill team is ready to reignite its expansion fires. The aim? To open two full-service breweries and restaurants each year for the next couple of years.

Lehigh Valley: The Next Destination

A New Place To Brew In Pennsylvania

First on the agenda for Iron Hill’s renewed growth plan is a new restaurant in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. The much-anticipated brewery and restaurant, scheduled to open its doors to the eager public in Spring 2024, will mark a crucial construction milestone for the Iron Hill team, with the delivery of the brewery equipment, including the tank delivery and installations, set for the first quarter.

22nd Brewery and Restaurant in Largest Shopping Mall

Planned to be located in the Lehigh Valley Mall, the largest shopping mall in the Lehigh Valley, this will be the 22nd brewery and restaurant overall for Iron Hill, originally founded in Delaware in 1996. Beyond Delaware, the other 21 locations span across Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Georgia. The prime and vibrant location is a naturally strategic move for Iron Hill to strengthen its brand presence in suburban markets.

Employment and Experiences: Key Components

100 Job Opportunities For Locals

In addition to introducing the Lehigh Valley community to the Iron Hill experience, the new establishment will bring about 100 full and part-time jobs to the bustling shopping center. Ranging from Executive Chef to line cooks, brewers, and servers, Iron Hill is aiming to build a local restaurant team that is sure to exceed guests’ expectations with its award-winning craft beer, inviting atmosphere, and delicious, memorable meals.

Enhanced Dining For Beer Enthusiasts

Not just known for their beers, Iron Hill offers an extensive menu that not only pairs well with beer but incorporates signature Iron Hill brews in 19 dishes. True to its tradition, the restaurant provides an all-day menu as well as seasonal offerings and weekend brunches to provide a casual and exciting dining experience.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Lehigh Valley community to Iron Hill, and our goal is to build a restaurant team that will continue to exceed our guests’ expectations,” said Chris Westcott, CEO of Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurants.
